Editorial Policy

Global Tech Search covers one subject: the physical footprint of the AI buildout. Power generation and grid capacity, chips and packaging, data centers, cooling and water, and the supply chains underneath all of it. Internally the framing is “follow the power” — every post should trace where the electricity, water, silicon, or capital actually comes from, and who carries the cost.

Posts that drift outside that lane get removed rather than left to accumulate. Eight developer-tool comparison guides were deleted outright in August 2026 for this reason, and their URLs now return 410 Gone.

Claims are attributed to a primary source wherever one exists: company earnings calls and filings, regulator and grid-operator publications, and agency datasets, in preference to secondary reporting about them. Where a figure comes from an analyst estimate rather than the company itself, it is labelled as an estimate.

Numbers that this site measured itself — benchmark throughput, network latency — are labelled as measured, and the method is published alongside them so a reader can rerun it. See the methodology page.

• Invent benchmark numbers, quotes, or statistics, or present a derived figure as a measurement.
• Describe a claim as “verified” unless it was checked against a primary source.
• Present a computed score as though it were data. A card that previously displayed an “impact score” derived from keywords in the headline was removed for exactly this reason.
• Publish sponsored content or paid placements as though they were editorial.

The site carries display advertising and may carry affiliate links. Advertisers have no input into what is covered or what is concluded, and no post is written because of an affiliate relationship. Where an affiliate link appears, it is disclosed on the page it appears on.
